Created a liaison program with Octagon Drug House providing a Methadone maintenance program and counseling for pregnant heroin addicts.• Provided psychotherapy for patients before and after hysterectomies, abortions, tubal plasty and sexual and marital therapy for cancer patients • Counseled women, and couples after the loss of a baby • Taught graduate social work students and supervised their field placements.

Departments of Neurosurgery, Otorhinolaryngology, and Opthalmology worked with patients who had brain tumors, spinal cord injuries and adjustment to paralysis.  Worked with patients who had Laryngectomies and started a therapy group with an audiologist to help patients communicate with a Bell telephone device that simulated their own voices. Saw patients who were stricken with blindness due to accidents or degenerative eye disease. provided a liaison with community rehabilitation Centers in the community after hospitalization
